Living in Sundsvall
Sundsvall has nearly 100,000 inhabitants and is the largest city in the region. Around 5,000 students study at the Sundsvall campus of the Mid Sweden University.
Sundsvall has a lot to offer with theatre stages, a concert house, Kulturmagasinet, the Pipeline rock club and a jazz club. The Sundsvall Street Festival, democracy week and Selånger market are just a few of the annual events that lives up the city. You are never far from nature or the sea. The Ljungan river flows south of Sundsvall and in the North of the region you'll find the Indal river. Forests span the areas around the southern and northern mountains surrounding the city.
