  • Who can apply for an apartment?
  • Full-time students at Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall.
  • When can I apply for an apartment?
  • After you have recieved an enrollment letter from the Mid Sweden University.
  • How are the apartments furnished?
  • The apartments are not furnished. "MTU Ekonomisk forening" rent furniture to students. For more information please visit their website www.mtu-sundsvall.se or call + 46 (0) 70 553 80 65.
  • Kitchen equipment?
  • Stove, oven (not in all apartments), fridge, freezer/freezing-compartment. No kitchen utensils or furniture.
  • What do I do if I will arrive in Sundsvall after office hours?
  • The student union will collect keys in advance for those of you who have orderd their pick-up service. For more information contact ordf@sks.miun.se or internationaldesk@miun.se
  • Where do I pay the rent?
  • You can pay the rent by internet, if you are using internetbanking. If you want to simplify paying the rent, you can use autogiro or e-invoicing. Apply for e-invoicing through your internetbank. Contact us for more information. Cash payments can be made at a bank office.
  • What happens if I do not pay the rent on time?
  • The rent must always be paid in advance to our plus giro account at the latest by the last day of each month. We normally send out invoices, but you must pay the rent on time even if for some reason you do not receive it. If you do not pay the rent, collection claims will be sent from Intrum Justitia, our collection company. Besides the rent in these cases, you will also be charged a collection fee and interest. StuBo does not send out payment reminders. Sometimes student grant money can be delayed. If this happens and you have trouble paying the rent on time, it is your responsibility to contact us at once to discuss when payment can be made.
  • What is included in the rent?
  • Water, heating, electricity, 2 Mbit broadband (you need to have either cable to the network or a router) and cable TV.
  • Can I change apartment within StuBo?
  • You have to live in the same aparmtent for one year before you can change apartments. The three-month notice period also applies when switching to another StuBo apartment.
  • Who is my Janitor?
  • On the notice board in the stairwell of your apartment building you will find the name and contact details of your janitor.
  • Who do I contact if something requires repair in my apartment?
  • If you discover a problem in your apartment and you think it requires immediate attention you must ring our property emergency service at phone. +46 60-13 95 00 (choice of buttons) directly. If the problem is not urgent you can log into "Mina Sidor" and report your problem there.
